why you need to steer clear of using AI to make sales

If you’re afraid AI is going to take your job, think again!

I’ve heard so many people say that over the past few years, but it’s never even crossed my mind.

I know for a fact that nobody will buy a product or service that was promoted by robot-made content, and here’s why.

AI Lacks Connection Content

You need to build relationships if you want to sell in the online space. Your content needs to come from your heart with personal experiences that are unique to you - and that your audience can relate to. I don’t know about you, but I don’t think AI has a ton of trauma or personal history to pull from. The result? Flat content that doesn’t have a ton of personality.

AI Makes Errors

I mean, so do we. We’re human, after all. I had a client who used to use AI for her email sequences, and the engagement just wasn’t great. Aside from having personality-infused content, her emails were full of errors. And honestly, they made zero sense! Even though AI is a robot, it still can make grammar and information errors. When we use it, we tend to miss those errors because we expect it to be perfect. It’s a trap!

so, what is AI good for?

It’s a great tool, but it’s not the end-all solution to your content and copywriting.

We love using AI to save time with:

  • Brainstorming ideas

  • Creating content outlines

  • Getting our creative writing started

It still requires you to edit, edit, and edit some more, so it sounds like you and gives your audience the opportunity to connect! It’s no substitute for a genuine, human touch that makes content relatable and trustworthy.
