are you still launching offers that don’t convert?

Did you have a recent launch that flopped? You’re not the only one, but this is what you need to know!

You can have the best idea for an offer, but it won't sell if it doesn't address a genuine need or desire in the market.

That's the bottom line.

I had countless bad ideas before I started Champagne Co., and I just had to learn to let them go. Sometimes, things don’t work out on the first try - and that’s okay!

If you’re feeling discouraged about a launch that didn’t make you the sales you had envisioned, take a tip or two from Stanley Cups.

By the way, I bet you have one in your car cup holder right now. And if you don’t, I’m sure you’re at least picturing their iconic, handled cup as you’re reading this! That’s exactly how you know there’s a market for them!

they do things differently.

There’s a reason people literally line up when new cup colors are released at Target. Stanley is doing things differently.

When you think of Stanley, you probably think of its durability, quality, and reliability.

But there’s something else that sets it apart from the other tumbler companies in the world.

And that’s their commitment to listening to their audience.

they adapt to their customers.

Stanley saw that other companies weren’t adapting to their customers’ needs, so they decided to take the lead.

They adjusted their cups to fit car cup holders, giving their customers the gift of convenience. Because they gave the people what they wanted, you see them everywhere freaking you look!

When you look at your own offer, what are you doing to adapt it? How does it fit your audience’s current needs?

they strive to stand out.

Stanley’s dedication to meeting the evolving needs of its customers is what makes it stand out.

This is why its cups fly off the shelves every.single.time. And it’s probably why you weren’t able to get your hands on their most recent summer collection.

Moral of The Story

If you come up with something that you genuinely think is a great idea—do your research first.

Ask yourself . . .

  • Is there a market for it?

  • If so, who would be your competitors?

  • What are they doing right, and what are they doing wrong?

Ask ALL the questions.

If your research tells you your idea isn’t something your audience needs, take your ego out of it and move on.

As entrepreneurs, we get millions of ideas every single day, but that doesn't mean that they will turn into successful businesses.
