Lessons I wish I’d known sooner for bigger success

I’m going to be honest.

Despite what social media might tell you, success doesn’t happen overnight. The road to the life and business you truly desire is a long and rocky one. Running a sustainable online business with a life you love requires hard work, discipline, the right mindset, and a ton of consistent action.

Here are three lessons I’ve learned along the way that I apply every single day for growth in my own life and business. I wish I had learned these sooner, which is why I’m laying them out for you here!

you can only control what you can.

As entrepreneurs, we like to have a say in our lives. That’s why we don’t work a 9-5, right?! But the irony is that there can actually be less predictability as a business owner, which is why it’s important to know . . .

You can only control what you can control.

Life's like a rollercoaster! You're strapped in, and it's going to twist and turn whether you like it or not. But here's the deal: you can't control the twists and turns, only how you react to 'em. Stop stressing about stuff beyond your control and focus on what you can *actually* change. It'll save you a whole lot of unnecessary worry.

No one is going to do it for you.

You’ve had your eye on that vacation to the Bahamas, or you’ve been dreaming of paying off debt, but neither of those things have happened yet. You want them so damn badly, but you’re sitting in the same place you were last year.

The cold, hard truth about that is . . .

No one's going to do it for you.

If you want to make big things happen for yourself, you need to put in the work to get them. Nobody's going to hand you success on a silver platter. If you want something bad enough, you gotta roll up your sleeves and go after it with everything you've got.

Waiting around for someone else to make it happen ain't going to cut it. So lace up your boots, hustle hard, and make your dreams a reality.

Kindness is key.

In a world full of Merlot, be a Moscato. In other words, when the world seems bitter, sweeten it up!

Kindness is key. Life's too short to be a jerk.

Seriously. Being kind ain't just about being nice—it's about understanding that we're all on this crazy ride together.

So hold the door open, give a smile, and lend a hand when someone's down. It costs nothing but means everything. You never know what someone is going through.

And trust me, kindness has a funny way of coming back around when you least expect it.
