What Being a Virtual Assistant Does NOT Mean

This may be a hot take, but it needs to be said. Being a Virtual Assistant does NOT mean you are always available to do any task. Here at the Champagne Collective, we might be “the girls who get shit done,” but we are NOT “the girls who do everything.” You shouldn’t be either! Read on to learn more about what being a VA does NOT mean. 

Virtual Assistant Does NOT Equal Available For Anything

⁠If you are a fellow Virtual Assistant, it's time we get clear on what we are and are NOT available for. We must start communicating our boundaries clearly and thoroughly with each and every client so we no longer feel guilty for saying no to:

• Tasks that are outside of our job description. 

• Tasks that are outside of our agreed upon scope of work and hours.

• Responding to messages and requests outside of our working hours.⁠
